TESC-5133 Low Temperature Viscometer with Brookfield® DV2T
The TESC-5133 Low Temperature Viscometer offers an automated solution for ASTM D5133 conditioning and testing across a range of -42°C to +90°C. It provides precise temperature control for consistent results and accurate measurements. Its compact form factor is ideal for multi-unit installations, optimizing bench space and reducing the need for operator interaction.
Using Windows software, it records temperature and viscosity data throughout the test, calculates the Gel Index Temperature, and identifies where viscosity changes rapidly. The compact design supports the installation of multiple units in limited spaces, while its solid-state thermoelectric cooling system, based on Peltier technology, eliminates the need for hazardous bath fluids. It integrates with Brookfield® DV2T viscometers and features a convenient lift mechanism for easy positioning.
This viscometer is ideal for testing a range of lubricants, including gear oils, automatic transmission fluids, tractor fluids, hydraulic oils for industrial and automotive applications, and any other lubricants where low-temperature viscosity is a key concern.
