Using Hydrogen as carrier gas for GC is becoming more and more popular. The Da Vinci innovative Simply Smart Sensor works as a safety shut-off system, monitoring hydrogen leaks in the GC oven body and cutting off the hydrogen line in case of an accident, filling all the GC lines with inert gas (usually nitrogen) to avoid fire. The user can add other suitable signaling options like sound or light alarm, or a text message to a mobile phone.
One controller can operate up to four sensors with a maximum cable length of 3m.
