The CANNON Digital Paddle Viscometer accurately measures viscosity of various materials between 30 and 30,000 mPa·s at temperatures of 40°C, 50°C, 80°C, and 100°C. It follows ASTM D7226 test method for emulsified asphalt. Available in standard and water-cooled models, this viscometer is suitable for other applications requiring temperature control and viscosity measurement. It is ideal for field use and can determine viscosity of lubricating oils, marine fuels, and other liquids with an accuracy of at least five percent, surpassing ASTM D445 requirements for residual oils at 50°C.

  • Improves data quality by automating sample processing and testing, continuously mixing the sample, and directly measuring the sample temperature.
  • Eliminates laborious and tedious sample processing by eliminating the need for sieving or sample pre-heating, allowing unattended sample processing, and quick and easy cleaning between samples.
  • Reduces safety risks by eliminating the need for hot dripping samples or tricky cork removal, and by automatically disabling motor power in the event of over-temperature fault conditions.
  • Low cost and easily transportable design with no ancillary equipment (e.g. ovens, water baths).
