Automatic Water Separability / Demulsibility Tester
The Automatic Apparatus for Determining Water Separability of Petroleum Oils and Synthetic Fluids (ASTM D1401 – ISO 6614) is a benchtop device featuring four independent testing positions. It includes a compact steel case, anodized aluminum top plate, and an insulated bath cover with four sample and preheating jackets. The apparatus is equipped with a stainless steel heating bath, high-efficiency LED backlight, and electronically controlled sample stirrers. A built-in CMOS camera and 12” touch screen Panel PC with Windows Embedded-based software allow for automated or manual testing. It supports LIMS and printers via USB and Ethernet ports, and includes safety features against overheating and low water levels. Test reports, with sample images, are saved on an internal SSD.
