Tanaka’s Automated Small Scale Closed Cup Flash Point Tester (ASC-8c / ASC-8h) is a compact, efficient solution designed for petroleum laboratories seeking accurate flash point testing. Building on decades of experience since 1966, the 8th generation series emphasizes ergonomic design, versatility, robustness, and safety.
The ASC-8c model requires minimal sample volume (2ml or 4ml), providing flash point measurements within a range of -20℃ to 135℃ (or -30℃ to 135℃ with an optional chiller). It includes multiple test modes—Flash / No Flash, Ramp, CRM, and Custom—to suit various testing requirements.
The ASC-8h, a high-temperature variant, extends the measurement range from ambient to 300℃. Both models feature a USB port for data storage, a user-friendly swing arm assembly, and a fire containment system for enhanced safety. They support ASTM, ISO, IP, and JIS test methods, with easy maintenance and high-quality construction for reliable, long-term use.
