Apparatus for Determining Oxidation Characteristics of Inhibited Mineral Oils
The Apparatus for Determining Oxidation Characteristics of Inhibited Mineral Oils is designed to evaluate lubricant oxidation stability in accordance with ASTM D943, IP 157, ISO 4263, and ISO 12205. Housed in a durable benchtop steel enclosure, the system features an aluminum thermostatic block accommodating four, eight, or twelve oxidation cells, each with independent flow control.
Models are available with either variable-area flowmeters or precision mass flow controllers. Stainless steel electric heaters and a microprocessor-based temperature regulator provide stable control from ambient conditions up to 150 °C, with readings shown on a clear digital display. An integrated water dispenser supports condenser cooling. Optional versions include an 8.4-inch touch-screen Panel PC for real-time monitoring and data logging. The unit operates on 220 V, with power consumption of 1800 W or 2500 W, depending on configuration.
