This apparatus is designed for the precise determination of demulsibility characteristics in lubricating oils, following ASTM D 2711 standards. It features a robust steel frame that supports a control box, a 500 mm borosilicate glass jar, and an electric lift for the sample stirrer. The removable stirrer assembly allows for easy cleaning, and a digital tachometer displays the stirrer speed.

Key components include a four-position turntable with an anodized aluminum cover, stainless steel heaters, and a microprocessor-controlled thermoregulator equipped with a PT100 RTD probe. Safety features are integrated to prevent overheating and low fluid levels. The apparatus ensures accurate and efficient testing, complete with an electromechanical timer that automatically shuts down the stirrer after five minutes.
