Apparatus for Determination of Evaporation Loss of Greases and Oils – wide temperature range
The ASTM D2595 apparatus measures the evaporation loss of lubricating greases across a wide temperature range.
It features a benchtop steel case with high-efficiency thermal insulation, an aluminum block with air preheaters, and stainless steel band heaters. The control panel includes independent thermoregulators for both the block and air, digital displays, and knobs for precise flow adjustment. The test range is from ambient temperature up to 316°C, with safety devices to prevent overheating. It also has electronic mass flow controllers with 1% accuracy and a microprocessor thermoregulator with 0.1°C precision. The unit includes safety features, a user manual, and is CE marked. Available in two and four-place models, it operates on 220 V/50 Hz, with power consumption options of 2000 W or 4000 W.
