The CANNON CAV 4.2 is a compact, fully automated, dual-bath benchtop viscometer engineered for high-throughput, unattended D445 viscosity testing. Featuring two independent baths and 14-position sample handlers, the system enables up to 24 determinations per hour across a wide viscosity range (0.5 to 10,000 mm²/s) and temperature range (15 °C to 150 °C with options).
Designed for applications including formulated oil, base stocks, additives, marine fuels, and crude oil, the CAV 4.2 delivers precision, efficiency, and flexibility. Its next-generation tubes reduce solvent use by up to 50%, while integrated vial washing minimizes consumables. The system also offers Peltier cooling, onboard control, and VISCPRO® software integration for streamlined operation and reporting.
